-Wire and a headphone jack or you could use a speaker wire

-Scrap cloth.

Drill Holes in the top of the can. At least 10 or so should do it.

Drill One more hole in the side of the tin for the wire.

Preparing the Wires

This step is for people who are NOT using a speaker wire. If you are using a speaker wire simply strip off 1 cm of insulation off the two ends.
Measure out two 200cm lengths of wire and strip off the ends at least 1cm of insulation at every end.
Then twist the two pieces into one length of wire. After you have done this take one end of this length of twisted wire and wire it into the speaker jack.

The Can

Pass these wires though the hole in the side of the can and tie a knot in the end you have passed though the hole so the wires are not pulled apart.

Wiring the Speaker

DSCF0032.JPG
Attach the wires you have passed though the two speaker wires and cover the connections with tape. Make sure the attachments are not touching, otherwise it will not work. Place the speaker against the end of the can with the holes drilled in it.

Pack It With Scrap Cloth

Pack the can with scrap cloth. The can should not be packed tight but packed tight enough so that the speaker doe not buzz. Note this step is essential to this project.

Enjoy
