Silhouette Cut Out

First, you going to want to go on Google and find a picture of a horse's profile and trace it onto a piece of cardboard( you can do whatever size you want but this will be the size of your final horse), then cut it out like shown in the image above.
Create Shape

Okay, now it's time to give this horse some shape. As shown in the image above, were going to have you cut out two thin strips of cardboard. With those two strips of cardboard (like shown above) Your going to hot glue the strip where the horses neck starts to the top of its head.
Add Detail to the Shape.

Now we are going to do the rest of the shaping. For this step, were are going to have you look at the images shown above. you will need more thin strips of cardboard for this( It doesn't matter the order that you put the strips on).
When It Comes Time to Mount.

This is the step that will make your horse able to be put on a wall when done. For this step you're going to trace the back of the horse on a piece of cardboard, ounce you have the cut you will hot glue it on the horse's back as shown in the image.
Stuffing Time

Now you're going to take paper and newspaper and stuff your horse like so.
Tapping Time

Now you're going to wrap your horse in Painter's tape. As you can see in the image above we added ears, for that, you will just cut out any shape you want for the ears. glue them, and tape them as well.
Paper Mache Time

This step has two parts. For the first part, you will need Elmer's glue and water. You will make a little mixture of glue and water, which will help your newspaper stick to your horse. The measurements for this don't matter, you will know when you need more glue or more water. So add both of these things into a cup and your water will turn foggy( to test if it's sticky, you just dip your fingers in the mixture to see if it's sticky enough).
For the second part, you're going to tear your newspaper into different-sized pieces. When it comes to putting the newspaper on, smaller pieces will be better. Next, you will dip your pieces into the mixture and stick them on the horse until it's fully covered, as shown in the image above. (You may need to leave it overnight to dry.)
Painting Time

For this painting step, there aren't many instructions besides make sure its fully covered, add 2 or 3 coats, and you don't need to paint the part that will be mounting it on the wall. (You can do any color you want, and you can mix colors)
Adding Design

As you can see, we added a light reflection on his nose and added eyes. This step can be however you want; you can give the eyes detail, you can skip the reflection, or you could shade to give him more of a 3D look. Your Choice ;)
