A Brick House That Can't Be Blow Away

This model is a small grey brick house that has furniture inside. The furniture that is in the house is a grey sofa that's made out of cardboard and was glued together with hot glue. There is also a table that is made out of craft sticks but was painted brown. By the entrance of the brick house there is a tan welcome mat. There is also a lamp in the corner of the house next to the TV. When I began this product I started by doing my exterior which is my 4 brick walls along with my lack roof and 4 windows. To give my house the brick texture I had to cut small rectangles and paint them grey and after they were dried I glued them down and went over the lines with a black marker. I made my door frame with craft sticks and painted them white as well. I made some trees out of air clay and after they dried I painted them with green paint. After my whole outside was done I began with the inside, I started with my sofa, cut pieces of cardboard then painted them the same color to replicate my online CAD. After they were painted I hot glued the pieces together and then glued the sofa down to the floor of my house. I cut a rectangular piece of cardboard to make my TV and then, cut and glued craft sticks to make my table after I painted the sticks brown. For my lamp I made a circle out of cardboard and glued it to a craft stick and lastly for my mat I just had to cut a rectangle out of cardboard to create a mat and then wrote the words "WELCOME".

Supplies

The materials I used to build my brick house were cardstock paper to create the brick texture on the outside walls of the house, a lot of cardboard to build my walls and roof along with the sofa, TV as well a welcome mat, I also used craft sticks to create my mini table and to create my lamp and door frame. I also used scissors to cut the cardboard and used plenty of paint. To build all of this I used glue sticks and a hot glue gun.
