BluePlastic: it was our goal to design a bluetooth speaker made out of waste material, for our project we chose to use plastic bags which will be used as the main material to create the speaker

MATERIALS USED:

Plastic bags

Greaseproof paper

Iron

cutter

Screwdriver

Self-tapping screws

Used/Recycled speaker (of your choice)

Hot glue

1. Fold the bag into a rectangular shape, cut the handles and the bottom of the bag. Repeat the operation for all the bags.

 2. Lay out a sheet of greaseproof paper, place more cut bags stacked on top of it, lay another sheet over the bags.

3. Iron the bags until you get a slab (recommended thickness 3mm).

 4. Cut the sheet of bags obtained with a cutter to the measurements necessary to compose the body of the speaker (depending on the components of the speaker used).

5. Repeat the process for the other 5 shells needed to compose a cube/parallelepiped.

6. Mark the position of the holes required for the components (exit audio, recharge and on-off button) that will then be fixed inside the bodies.

 7. Drill the holes of the correct size (use tools accordingly with the type of hole: cutter, screwdriver etc…).

8. Fix the components according to the type of speaker used by implementing any supports via platforms obtained from the waste of the original plastic plate with hot glue.

9. Screw the shells to the edges with self-tapping screws.
