Universal Loom in 1/2" gauge CinDwood Loom

Looming Hook

Crochet Hook (size H)

1 Skein for Ear Warmer and 2 Skeins for Hat of Lions Brand Hometown USA Yarn

Terms:

CO: Cast On: Process of E-Wrapping all the pegs

EW: E-Wrap: Process of wrapping the working yarn behind the peg, then around to the front and back again, toss the bottom loop over the top.

P: Purl: Process of pulling the working yarn through the bottom to the top of the stitch, take original stitch off, and place the new stitch on the loom.

K: Flat Knit: Process of tossing the bottom loop over the top working yarn, make sure to pull the bottom stitch, you just tossed over into the middle of the loom before releasing, this allows the stitch you just made to be looser.

COF: Cast Off: E-Wrap pegs 1 and 2, place stitch 2 on peg 1, and toss the bottom loop over. Now move the stitch over to fill the gap. Now E-Wrap the 2nd peg, then move loop 2 to peg 1 and toss the bottom loop over. Move the stitch over to fill the gap. Repeat from the move to fill the gap.

DEW: Double E-Wrap: Process of E-Wrapping the peg twice and tossing the original loop over the 2 wraps.

6RCC: 6 Stitch Right Cable Cross: Process of skipping pegs 1,2, and 3, EW pegs 4, 5, and 6. Place loops 6, 5, and 4 onto a stitch hold in that order. The EW pegs 1, 2, and 3, place loop 3 to peg 6, loop 2 to peg 5, and loop 1 to peg 4. Then place loop 4 from stitch holder onto peg 1, and loop 5 from stitch holder onto peg 2, and loop 6 from stitch holder onto peg 3. Snug up your loops starting with peg 1 and going through peg 6.

6LCC: 6 Stitch Left Cable Cross: Place loops 1, 2, and 3, onto stitch holder, hold into middle of the loom. Make sure the working yarn goes in front of your stitch holder to wrap pegs 4, 5, and 6. Lift loops 4, 5, and 6 in that order onto your looming hook. Place loop 6 on peg 3, and loop 5 on peg 2, and loop 4 on peg 1. Now pull loop 1 from stitch holder and place onto peg 4, and pull loop 2 from stitch holder and place onto peg 5, and loop 3 from stitch holder and place onto peg 6. EW pegs 4, 5, and 6. Snug up your loops starting with peg 1 and going through to peg 6.
