5 Minutes Blueberry Cinnamon Porridge

In an effort to eat more healthy I tried to come up with some easy recipe involving oats and fruit.
I don't have much time in the morning and I usually wake up in zombie mode, so I had to reduce the steps to a minimum and keep the preparation in the 5 minutes time frame (so I can sleep longer).
The beauty of this recipe is that it works with anything, you can replace the blueberries with: 1 banana or 1 apple, 1 pear, 1 peach, raspberries, strawberries, etc.
You can also mix the fruits or add walnuts, coconut flakes, honey, brown sugar.
A great way to start the day in a positive way!
Supplies
- 1/2 cup (40g) of oats
- 180g of water
- 1 handful of blueberries (fresh or frozen)
- 1 spoon of maple sirup (or 1 teaspoon of honey)
- grounded cinnamon at will
To cook you will need a microwave, mine is 900W for reference.
Measure the Oats

Take a nice cereal bowl and add 1/2 cup of oats. Or you can put a scale under the bowl if you use grams like a do as a measure. It will help for step 2.
Add Water to the Mix

Add the 180g of water, you can use a scale or a measuring container. the oats need to be covered by water.
Add the Berries and Cook

Drop the blueberries in, mix a little and put in the microwave at high for 2:30 minutes (3 minutes if using frozen berries)
Sweet, Spice and Taste!

Add the maple sirup and a generous amount of cinnamon, mix all together and that's it!
It might be very hot so let it cool down a little or start from the borders. Enjoy!
