I have so many little tiny balls of yarn that I want to use up so badly, I did a little research and made 4 crochet patterns that will be perfect for using up all your left over yarn scraps!

These will literally take you only about 5 minutes each, and are perfect as gifts for friends and family as well as some for your own personal use and home decor.

Supplies

Yarn:

For almost all these projects you can use whatever kind of yarn you want, although for 2 of them %100 cotton yarn is recommended.

Hook:

Whatever weight yarn you have, you can use the hook size that matches.

Scissors:

The only way to finish your project is to use Scissors. (or a knife I suppose) : )

Yarn Needle (aka Darning Needle):

This is optional, but for those of you how are paranoid about you stitches falling out, I'm not stopping you from using one of these. ; )

These are so cute! They work up very quickly and are a perfect gift for baby shower gifts! I used left over yarn from a baby hat, and scarf (pictured above).

Foundation Row: Chain 6, place one single crochet in the second chain from hook, then place one single crochet in each chain until the end of the row. (5)

Row 2 - 26: Chain one, place one sing crochet in each stitch until the end of the row. (5)

Row 27: Chain one, place one single crochet into the next four stitches. Into the last stitch, insert your hook and pull up a loop, then cut the yarn, pull your contrast color through to finish the stitch.

Edging: Now that you have your contrast color, chain one, and place one single crochet into the side of each row. Once you've made it all the way down the side, cut your yarn and create a knot to secure the end. (27)

Sole Foundation: On the side without edging, count ten rows in, then secure your contrast color into the side of that row with a knot. Pull up a loop, then place seven single crochets onto the side. (7)

Sole Row 2 - 11: Chain one, place one single crochet in each stitch until the end of the row. (7)

Sole Row 12: Chain one, place one single crochet decrease into the next two stitches (Single Crochet Decrease: insert your hook, pull up a loop, insert you hook into the next stitch, pull up a loop, Pull through all three loops on your hook). Place one single crochet into the next 3 stitches. Single crochet decrease into the last two. (5)

Sole Row 13: Single crochet decrease into the first two stitches, place one single crochet into the next stitch, single crochet decrease into the last two. Fasten off. (3)

Sew were I drew red lines in the pictures above, be sure to change the direction you fold for your second bootie. turn the bootie inside out.

Cut and weave in your ends! Congrats, you're finished!

For this, I used leftover yarn from a tissue box cover (pictured above) as well as some pink yarn from Dollar Tree! This is one of the Projects I would recommend using %100 cotton yarn for. With that said let's get into it!

You can use a scrubby for washing dishes, washing you face, and everything in between!

Round 1: To begin chain 3, then slip stitch into the first chain. Chain 1, then place 6 single crochets into the center of the chains. Slip stitch into the first single crochet you made. (6)

Round 2: Chain 1, place 2 single crochets in each stitch around, slip stitch into the first single crochet of the round. (12)

Round 3: Chain 1, *place 2 single crochets in the first stitch, place 1 single crochet into the next* repeat from ** until you've made it all the way around. Slip stitch into the first single crochet you made. (18)

Round 4: Skip the first stitch, *place 4 stitches into the next stitch, slip stitch into the next stitch* repeat from ** until you've made it all the way around. Slip stitch into the first single crochet of the round.

Cut and weave in your ends! Congrats, you're finished!

Ruffle Scrunchie

I made this scrunchie with leftover yarn from a baby diaper cover (pictured above). These srunchies always turn out super cute and are the great for using up that last little ball of yarn. You will also need an elastic hair tie for this.

Round 1: Tie a knot onto the hair tie, pull up a look with your hook, then chain one. Place single crochets all the way around the hair tie, this number will vary depending on your size hair tie. Once you've made it all the way around slip stitch into the first single crochet that you made.

Round 2: Chain 2, place 2 double crochets in each stitch around. Slip stitch into the chain 2 that you made at the beginning.

Cut and weave in your ends! Congrats, you're finished!

I used left over yarn for this from some crocheted small baskets (pictured above). I recommend using 100% cotton yarn for this coaster.

These are perfect house warming gifts in a set of 3 or 4 that you can whip up in about 3 minutes.

Round 1: Make a magic circle and place 8 half double crochets (hdc) inside. Close up the circle and slip stitch into the first hdc of the round.

Round 2: Chain 2, place 2 hdc in each stitch around. Slip stitch into the first hdc on the round.

Round 3: Chain 2, *place 2 hdc in the first stitch, place 1 hdc into the next stitch* repeat from ** until you've made it all the way around. Slip stitch into the first hdc of the round.

Round 4: Chain 3, * skip the next stitch and place 1 hdc in the next stitch, chain one* repeat from ** until you've made it all the way around. Slip stitch into the chain 3 you made at the beginning of the round.

Round 5: Chain 2, place 2 hdc's into the chains directly below, *place 1 hdc into the next stitch, then place 2 hdc's into the chain one space* repeat from ** until you've made it all the way around. Slip stitch into the first hdc of the round.

Cut and weave in your ends! Congrats, you're finished!
