This unique 4-ingredient bread is super quick and easy to make, and has great flavor!

Supplies

  • 3 cups self-rising flour

(OR- 3 cups regular flour mixed with 4 1/2 teaspoons baking powder and 3/4 teaspoon salt)

  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 4 tablespoons melted butter, divided
  • 1 1/2 cups beer - I used Leinenkugel's

Mix Dry Ingredients

Add Wet Ingredients

Add 3 tablespoons melted butter and the beer to the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly. Don't worry, it is not supposed to make a nice dough, but will be a batter consistency.

Spoon Into Prepared Pan, Top With Remaining Butter, Bake

Spoon the batter into a greased 9"x5" loaf pan and smooth the top. Brush with remaining butter. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 45 to 50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted 1/2" into the top of the loaf comes out clean.

Let Cool, Remove From Pan, Slice, Enjoy!

After letting the bread cool for 5 minutes, gently release and remove from the pan. Let it cool completely before slicing. Store airtight at room temperature. Great for sandwiches!
