3ds Max House Tutorial

The only thing you need for this tutorial is 3ds max.

First you want to create the exterior of the house like the floor and the walls. In order to make the floor you need to select the plane object and create the ground for your house. Next you need to create walls for the house, you will need to 1 wall for the length and width using the box shape and then you can just clone them and move each wall to the opposite side.

In order to create windows and doorways you will need to make the object a editable poly and then select the part you want to make a window or doorway and just delete that space.

Now you will want to make the layout of the interior of the house. You will need to create walls inside the house form each room.

Lots of the stuff in the kitchen can be made from using the cube object. Such as the fridge, oven, cabinets, you can also use the cube objects for the handles as well. You will need to use the cylinder object for the stove on top of the oven. You will also use both of those shapes for the chairs and tables.

For the living Room I used the cube object to make the tv, chair and some of the couch. And then for the couch cushions I used the chamfer box allowing me to make a box into that shape.

I used the cube and made it a editable poly in order to make the bathtub and just used normal cube object to make the shower head. For the toilet I used the sphere object and edited so it looks like a bowl, and then I extrude the bottom and back of the bowl to make the rest of the toilet. The sink I did the same thing as the bath tub just smaller, and used the cube to make the bottom of the sink. Lastly I used the cube and cylinder to make the towel rack.

For the bed you will need to use the cube and chamfer box objects. With you cube you will make the bottom of the bed, and the chamfer box will be used to make the pillow and blanket. Then use the cube object to make the dresser. lastly you will need to use the cube object to also make the closet, and you can also use the cylinder to make a rack in the closet.

You have now created a house!
