3d Printed Caster Wheel With Xerox Roller

I wanted to give my DIY design showcase cabinet a little bit more stability. So I printed a couple of caster wheels. A Xerox mechanic gave me a big box of old feeder rollers, so this is a nice project to use some of them.

It is a really easy project. Just print the parts and put it together.

You Will Need

Materials

  • 1 long M3 bolt
  • Xerox feeder roller

Tools

  • Flat screwdriver
  • 3D-printer (+computer)

Print the Parts

You first need to print the parts. All the parts are combined in one file.

I added an extra fill plate. You might not need that.

I printed with 100% fill.

Take the rubber roller from the Xerox part and put it on the printed roller.

Put the Bolt In

Put the M3 bolt through the holes to make your caster and you are finished.

Screw your caster where you need is. (you might need some extra screws for this, or tape, or glue, or whatever)

Have fun!
