Create your own 3D Millennium Falcon using Perler beads! This project is fun and beginner-friendly, though it does require a lot of beads.

You’ll need:

  1. Hot glue
  2. Perler beads
  3. Parchment paper
  4. Clothes iron
  5. Pegboards

That’s all!

Layout the Top

Start by arranging the beads for the top section on a pegboard. Refer to the attached image for guidance.

Tip: You don’t have to follow the exact colors—feel free to customize!

Fuse the Pieces

Place parchment paper gently over the beads (be careful not to disturb the layout). Using a clothes iron, melt the beads until they fuse together. Once cooled, set the pieces aside.

Complete the Top Layout

Continue laying out the remaining top pieces on the pegboard, following the image. Again, color choices are up to you.

Fuse the New Pieces

Repeat the ironing process for these pieces and set them aside.

Build Downward

Now we’ll start building downward layers. Follow the images provided and make three pieces (one can be a lighter blue for variation).

Fuse and Set Aside

Iron the three new pieces and set them aside.

Assemble the Top

Take the large piece from Step 1 and glue the large piece from Step 3 on top of it (Step 1 piece goes on the bottom). Then glue the smaller piece from Step 3 beneath the smaller piece from Step 1, filling the space so there are no holes.

Stack the Layers

Glue all three pieces from Step 5 together, then attach the assembled top from Step 7 on top. You should now have six layers in total.

Create the Base

Using the reference image, make the small parts for the bottom:

  1. Gun
  2. Six squares
  3. Two 3×4 pieces
  4. Base around the gun

Fuse these pieces and glue them in place as shown.

Build the Pilot Room
