DIY 3Dprinted Coffin Stash Box

 The Coffin / Stash-Box is a decorative and useful item for Halloween Party fun :) Enjoy!

The choice of materials {3D Printer Filament type} is up to you. I used PETg; simply because it is my Fav filament type. Gcode [a slicer program output] and any ‘fine tuning’ your 3D Printer requires is, of course, up to you and your choice of filament. This design is quite simple and it is doubtful you will need to do any fine-tuning.

Additional decorative options available in stl format [also listed]. My final choice: Raised Decorative Top Plate w/ Chain design. You might also print in a wood-fill PLA and paint it for a more rustic looking result. I made the original in red PETg a year ago and have made several more 'on request' for friends and local establishments. It even makes a sweet candy dish :).

3D Printer filament. {Your choice}

Felt cloth: {Similar to: Felt on Amazon}

Post Processing

clean-up2.jpg
Post-Process.jpg

Perform any 'clean-up' [aka: post processing] required to achieve the desired results {as this item can be used as a ‘simple decoration’ it may not be necessary to do much, if any, cleanup; even the 'strings' might look appropriate as 'cob-web' in a diorama setting { I'm not making a diorama this year ;) }; if however you intend to use the box ‘for real’, as it were, then you may wish to indulge in extra cleanup. Sanding at least and Painting is optional.}
