3D Printed Snowman Tea Light
I designed "3D Printed Snowman Tea Light" to hold name cards for our Christmas party, and added a "Merry Christmas!" banner for a centerpiece. The model consists of three components: the body, banner and hat.
The photographs show a model I printed in dual extrusion using the files "Body, Dual Extrusion.3mf", "Banner, Dual Extrusion.3mf" and "Hat.stl". I printed the model at .15mm vertical resolution with no supports. The body was printed in Ultimaker Transparent PLA and Ultimaker Black PLA, the banner in Ultimaker Green PLA and Ultimaker Red PLA, and the hat in Ultimaker Black PLA. Once printed, I glued the banner and hat to the body using small dots of thick cyanoacrylate glue, then inserted a 38mm diameter by 14mm tall tea light into the body.
I've also included the files "Body, SingleExtrusion.stl" and "Banner, Single Extrusion.stl" if you wish to print the body and banner using single extrusion for decorating using stick on jewels, paint, indelible ink markers, etc.
As usual, I probably forgot a file or two or who knows what else, so if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask as I do make mistakes in plenty.
Designed using Autodesk Fusion 360, sliced using Cura 3.5.1, and printed in PLA on an Ultimaker 2+ Extended and an Ultimaker 3 Extended.
