3D Printed "Pegs and Jokers" Game.
Our kids, grandkids, nieces, nephews, etc. have recently become fascinated with the game "Pegs and Jokers", but not necessarily fascinated with the prices. So after seeing the simplicity of the game design, I decided to design and 3D print a less expensive version.
The design only requires two basic parts, the board sections and pegs, and a minimum of four board sections and twenty pegs are required for four players. The design will facilitate from four to eight sections, and I've included the Autodesk Fusion 360 file "Pegs And Jokers V1.f3d" if you wish to customize the design.
I 3D printed ""Board Section.stl" at .15mm layer height with 20% infill, and I 3D printed "Peg.stl" at .1mm layer height with 20% infill. Note I 3D printed the pegs five at a time with a brim.
Depending on your slicer, printer, printer settings and the colors you chose, trimming, filing, drilling and/or sanding may be required for the pegs to fit in the board sections. I carefully filed all edges that contacted the build plate to make absolutely certain that all build plate "ooze" is removed and that all edges are smooth using small jewelers files and plenty of patience to perform this step.
As usual, I probably forgot a file or two or who knows what else, so if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask as I do make plenty of mistakes.
Designed using Autodesk Fusion 360, sliced using Ultimaker Cura 4.8.0, and 3D printed in PLA on Ultimaker S5s.
