3D Printed Flying Disc

I designed and 3d printed a disc golf disc that flies very far. I currently attend Bonneville High School.

I designed my disc models using Fusion360. It was actually very simple, I just sketched what I thought the disc cross-section should look like and then revolved it around the far edge. It took me a couple of attempts as you can see in the pictures, I ended up going with a flat top design with a thicker middle to print easier and add some more weight.

Print the Disc

This part was harder than you might expect, the supports were quite difficult. That said I did get it printed and painstakingly took off all the supports.

Throw the Disc

These videos show me throwing all of the versions I made, the first video is my final design and it went about 400 feet.
