Download the included files, and print on a printer of your choice. I went with .07mm layer hight, for maximum smoothness, and quality.

Take the can, and use your scissors to cut a piece about 1 inch by 1 inch. Then, take the thumb tack and poke a hole through. After that, cut the extra material off around the hole to make a nice round washer.

Take the smaller front wings, heat them up with the lighter, and bend them at a slight angle opposing eachother.

Bend Paper Clip

Take a standard paper clip, cut a piece about 12mm long, and bend one end into a small hook.

Assemble

Time to assemble! The last step before your butterfly takes to the sky! Start by pushing the straight end of the paper clip through the back part of the frame. Then, slide on the little washer you made. After that, hold the paper clip with the pliers, heat the end up with a lighter, and push it into the front wings. Finally, hook the elastic band on both hooks. That's it, you just made a 3d printer butterfly!

Make It Fly!

Wind the prop about 40 times, and give it a gentle toss into the air!
