3D Printed Working Speaker Test

Hi all,

This project is done for the purpose of testing and without calculation, and yes; it worked!

Watch the video to see it in action, and to see how it works.

How It's Done..

After printing the two parts (no support, 0.2mm layer hight), use a thin coiling wire and make a coil on the printed cylinder ( I used 0.35mm wire with 120 turns), the thinner the wire and the more turns the better results. Remember You need to mach the power and resistance of your audio output or you might damage your sound card/sound system!

For the test, use a cheap speaker with 3.5mm jack output or a cheap amplifier so you don't damage something expensive ;)

In the hole of the base, I used a 2.5cm stack of magnets (size 1mm X 5mm).

Happy testing!
