3D Pop Up Card for Mother | Helppo 3D-Äitienpäiväkortti

With this video tutorial you will learn how to make a clever mother's day card with a hidden letter M inside! Both the cover and the inside of the card will have 3D/pop up images!

This card is easy and fast to make, and doesn't require any special accessories, only cardboard, markers, glue, ruler, pen and scissors! And you dont' need to worry if your cardboard isn't bleedproof, because in this craft we will take advantage of bleeding ink!

Tämän ohjevideon avulla opit tekemään nokkelan äitienpäiväkortin, jonka sisällä on piilossa M-kirjain (Mother-sanan alkukirjain). Sekä kortin kannessa että sisällä on 3-ulotteiset kuvakoristeet!

Tämä kortti on helppo ja nopea tehdä, eikä vaadi mitään erikoisia tarvikkeita; ainoastaan kartonkia, tusseja, liimaa, viivoittimen, kynän ja sakset! Eikä haittaa vaikka kartonkisi ei olisi tusseille tarkoitettua, sillä tässä kortissa hyödynnämme kartongin läpi näkyvää tussinjälkeä!

Make two hearts the red cardboard.
Cut your red cardboard into 3 equal sized rectangles (about 2x2,5 inches each).
Fold them at the center so you'll have a vertical rectangle.
Draw a curve that looks like half of a heart. Make sure the center line of the heart is faced on the closed side of the folded cardboard.

Cut the heart out keeping the piece folded. Draw the same curve on the other piece using the first heart (folded) as a pattern. Cut out. Now you have two hearts. Leave the third red rectangle waiting.

Tee punaisesta kartongista kaksi sydäntä.

Leikkaa punainen kartonki kolmeen yhtä suureen osaan (n. 5x7cm).
Taita suorakulmiot keskeltä kahtia niin että muodostuu toinen suorakulmio pitkittäin.

Take the peach colored cardboard, measure the center line and draw a line at the center using a ruler and a stiching needle (or a bone folder if you have one). This helps you fold the cardboard neatly without breaking it.

Now draw a shape of a heart on the cover side of the cardboard using one of the hearts you just cut. Draw first with a pen.

Ota persikanvärinen kartonki ja mittaa sen puoliväi molemmista reunoista. Piirrä viivaimen ja sukkapuikon avulla kartongin keskelle viiva. Tämä viiva helpottaa kartongin taittamista ilman että sen pinta menee rikki.

Thicken the line with the marker.

Draw a stalk and leaf on top of the heart, so it looks like an apple. Color the stalk and leaf with markers.

Glue in the two hearts. Keep them folded. Place the hearts on each side of the drawn heart so they open meeting at the center

Open the card. Now you'll probably notice your marker has bled through the cardboard, but that's actually what's supposed to happen this time. You can trace the pale image easily with the marker and give it a neat look. Then color the stalk and leaf like before, but now also the apple.

Now take the third red rectangle, use the heart again as a pattern and draw a half heart on the folded cardboard. Cut out. Then draw a heart shaped spiral following the outlines of the heart. Start at the bottom center, going counter clockwise. There should be three layers on the spiral. Cut it out starting from the same spot you started drawing from. Be careful not to leave the tail of the spiral between the scissor blades as you cut.

Ota nyt jäljelle jäänyt punainen kartonginpala, ja piirrä siihen kannen sydäntä apuna käyttäen jälleen puolikas sydän. Leikkaa irti kuten aiemmin. Glue the spiral heart in. Apply the glue on the side where you started drawing and cutting, only on the right half. Turn around and place on the left side of the apple on the inside of the card. Then take the center end of the spiral and apply glue on the center piece. Be careful not to put glue anywhere else on the spiral. Check that the spiral is on it's place on the apple drawing, then carefully close the card and press on it with your hand to make sure the glue sticks.

Liimaa spiraalisydän paikalleen. Levitä liimaa sille puolelle jolle piirsit, ja ainoastaan oikealle puoliskolle.
