3D Painting

Greetings, this time I'm going to teach you how I made a 3D print from a picture, in my case, I used a picture from Keith Haring, named Pop Shop.

For this case we need a 3D printer that can use pla (polylactic acid) and the software Autodesk Fusion 360.

First of all we get the picture.

And we insert the reference image with the tool “canvas” on Autodesk fusion 360.

We give the image the measure that we desire.

Once we have inserted the picture we can start with the sketch.

5.png

We made the sketch of each part that we want to extrude independently.

And we extrude each different part of the picture.

In my case I softened the edges with the tool splice.

For the rest of the model we do the same operation, sketch and extrude for each component of the picture and splice.

Lastly, for this project I'm going to press “a” in the keyboard in order to make the windows appear as an aspect, these windows can give color or material to the solids dragging the material into solid.

And that is the final result.
