3D Model Magic Wand EHMS
Today I made a 3D model of my version of a fairy wand. You can adjust the measurements and color to your desire when 3D printing your model.
Supplies
A computer, internet access, computer browser, Tinkercad account.
Star
I first made the top part of the wand by using stars. I first grabbed a star from the Basic Shapes area and sized it to a width of 36.67m, length of 32.90m, and a height of 7.80m. I then grabbed another star from the Basic Shapes and sized it to a width of 25.75m, length of 23.10m, and a height of 12.88. I then made that second star into a hole and aligned it to the center of the first star and combined the two shapes together.
Smaller Star
I grabbed a star from the Basic Shapes area as before and used the measurements of 19.30m width, 17.31 length, and a 6.61 height. I then copy and pasted the star by using Ctrl + D and changed the measurements of the second star into 13.55 width, 12.16 length, and a 10.92 height and made this star into a hole. I then aligned the second star into the first star and combined the two stars together.
After this, I aligned the smaller star in the middle with the bigger star from step 1 and combined the two shapes together.
Wand
I grabbed a cylinder from the Basic Shapes area and used the measurements of a 4.84m width, 5.35m length, and a height of 42m and then rotated the shape 90 degrees. I then aligned the cylinder at the bottom of the two stars combined together to act as the stick of the wand.
Finishing Touches
After I combined the wand and stars together, I used a chopstick and used the measurements of 1.42m width, 25m length, and a 1.42m height. I then aligned the chopstick to the center of the stars to connect the two stars together.
I grabbed another star from the Basic Shapes and used the measurements of a width of 13.54m, 12.14m length, and a height of 20m. I then made this star into a hole. After, I aligned the star in the center of the wand and combined it to make one shape to hollow the center of the middle star.
