3D Hologram Projector

For this Instructable you will be using your phone to project a hologram! This is a very simple project that only takes 20 minutes and will impress your friends and family.

For this project you will need:

- Scissors

- Ruler

- Tape

- Pencil

- Piece of Paper

- Plastic (I used shrink plastic but you can also use the clear plastic from takeout containers, as pictured above)

To start off you will be making four trapezoids that need to be all the same size. To make sure they are all the same size, you will need to make a outline you can trace. Grab a piece of paper or an index card. You want the top line to be 1 in. long so you will need your ruler to make exact measurements. From the middle of the 1 in. line make a line going down that is 2 in. long. Make a line at the bottom of the trapezoid that is 3 in. long. Connect the ends of the top and bottom lines on both sides. Look at the pictures to help draw your outline.

Next you will trace four trapezoids over your plastic with a pencil. This is an easy step and it doesn't need to be perfect, just keep it close to the same size. Next you will cut it out. You're almost done!!

Arrange the trapezoids side to side as pictured. Tape them together, then tape the remaining untapped sides together. This makes a pyramid like shape.
