3D Beaded Panther Head!!
This Instructable will show you how to make a 3D beaded pink panther head
Gather Materials
You will need :
1. 57 Beads
- 54 Pink Beads (Rounds or other)
- 2 Yellow Beads (Bicone or other)
- 1 Pink Bead (Bicone or other)
- For this Instructable I will be using Faceted Round beads and Bicone beads, you can use different beads if you would like
2. String
- Approximately 5/6 Ft.
- Fishing line (6/8 Lb.) works best for 3D projects as it is very strong and thin enough to pass through the beads multiple times
3. Scissors
4. Nail polish
- If you don't have any nail polish you can use a permanent marker
- Red works best but any color will do
5. A Permanent Marker
- You will need a black permanent marker
Fold String in Half
1. Cut a piece of string
- Approximately 5/6 Ft.
- You want to make sure you have enough to finish the project without running out
2. Fold string in half
- Make sure that both ends are even
3. Paint the left end of the string
- Paint the string using nail polish or a permanent marker
- Let it dry for a minute
Make Circle #1
1. Put 5 pink beads (Rounds) on the left end (Painted)
2. Pass the right end (Clear) through the last bead in the opposite direction
3. Hold both ends of the string even
4. Pull tightly to the center
Make Circle #2
1. Put 3 pink beads (Rounds) on the left end (Clear)
2. Pass the right end (Painted) through the last bead in the opposite direction
3. Hold both ends of the string even
4. Pull tightly to the center
5. Pass the right end (Clear) into the next bead
Make Circle #3
1. Put 2 pink beads (Rounds) on the left end (Painted)
2. Pass the right end (Clear) through the last bead in the opposite direction
3. Pull to the center
4. Pass the right end (Painted) into the next bead
Make Circle #4
1. Put 2 pink beads (Rounds) on the left end (Clear)
2. Pass the right end (Painted) through the last bead in the opposite direction
3. Pull to the center
4. Pass the right end (Clear) into the next bead
Make Circle #5
1. Put 2 pink beads (Rounds) on the left end (Painted)
2. Pass the right end (Clear) through the last bead in the opposite direction
3. Pull to the center
4. Pass the right end (Painted) into the next 2 beads
Make Circle #6 & 7
1. Put 1 pink bead (Round) on the left end (Clear)
2. Pass the right end (Painted) through the bead in the opposite direction
3. Pull to the center
Pass Both Ends of the String Into the Same Bead
1. Pass the left end (Painted) into the next 2 beads
2. Pass the right end (Clear) into the next 3 beads
- Both ends of the string should now be through the same bead
- The left end of the string should be Clear and the right end of the string should be Painted
3. Turn the project
- The left end of the string should now be Painted and the right end of the string should be Clear

1. Put 4 pink beads (Rounds) on the left end (Painted)
2. Pass the right end (Clear) through the last bead in the opposite direction
3. Pull to the center
4. Pass the right end (Painted) into the next bead

1. Put 3 pink beads (Rounds) on the left end (Clear)
2. Pass the right end (Painted) through the last bead in the opposite direction
3. Pull to the center

1. Put 2 pink beads (Rounds) on the left end (Painted)

1. Put 1 pink bead (Round) on the left end (Clear)
2. Pass the right end (Painted) through the bead in the opposite direction
3. Pull to the center
Pass Both Ends of the String Into the Same Bead
1. Pass the left end (Clear) into the next 5 beads
- Both ends of the string should now be through the same bead
- The left end of the string should be Painted and the right end of the string should be Clear
2. Turn the project
- The left end of the string should now be Clear and the right end of the string should be Painted

1. Put 3 pink beads (Rounds) on the left end (Clear)
2. Pass the right end (Painted) through the last bead in the opposite direction
3. Pull to the center
4. Pass the right end (Clear) into the next bead

1. Put 2 pink beads (Rounds) on the left end (Painted)
2. Pass the right end (Clear) through the last bead in the opposite direction
3. Pull to the center
4. Pass the right end (Painted) into the next bead

1. Put 2 pink beads (Rounds) on the left end (Clear)
2. Pass the right end (Painted) through the last bead in the opposite direction
3. Pull to the center
4. Pass the right end (Clear) into the next bead
Make Circle #22
1. Put 2 pink beads (Rounds) on the left end (Painted)
2. Pass the right end (Clear) through the last bead in the opposite direction
3. Pull to the center

Make Circle #23 & 24
1. Put 1 pink bead (Round) on the left end (Clear)
2. Pass the right end (Painted) through the bead in the opposite direction
3. Pull to the center
Tie a Knot
1. Pass the left end (Painted) into the next 2 beads
2. Pass the right end (Clear) into the next 2 beads
- Both ends of the string should now meet up
3. Hold one end of the string in each hand
4. Tie a knot
- Make sure to pull the string as hard as you can without breaking it
5. Tie one more knot to make sure that it is secure
6. Pass one end of the string into a couple of beads
7. Cut the string
8. Pass the other end of the string into a couple of beads
9. Cut the string
10. Turn the project
- The front should be now be facing towards you
Make Circle #25
1. Cut a new piece of string (Approximately 2 Ft.)
2. Pass one end of string into the top left bead in the third circle to the right of the circle that you just tied off
- This is where the snout will begin
3. Fold string in half
- Make sure that both ends are even
4. Paint the left end of the string
- Paint the string using nail polish or a permanent marker
- Let it dry for a minute
5. Put 2 pink beads (1 Round & 1 Bicone) on the left end (Painted)
6. Pass the right end (Clear) through the last bead (Bicone) in the opposite direction
7. Hold both ends of the string even
8. Pull tightly to the center
9. Pass the right end (Painted) into the next bead to the right

1. Put 1 pink bead (Round) on the left end (Clear)
2. Pass the right end (Painted) through the bead in the opposite direction
3. Pull to the center
4. Pass the right end (Clear) into the next bead
Make Circle #27
1. Put 1 pink bead (Round) on the left end (Painted)
2. Pass the right end (Clear) through the bead in the opposite direction
3. Pull to the center
4. Pass the right end (Painted) into the next bead
Make Circle #28 & 29
1. Put 1 pink bead (Round) on the left end (Clear)
2. Pass the right end (Painted) through the bead in the opposite direction
3. Pull to the center
4. Pass the right end (Clear) into the next 2 beads
Tie a Knot
1. Hold one end of the string in each hand
2. Tie a knot
- Make sure to pull the string as hard as you can without breaking it
3. Tie one more knot to make sure that it is secure
4. Pass one end of the string into a couple of beads
5. Cut the string
6. Pass the other end of the string into a couple of beads
7. Cut the string
Make Eye #1
1. Cut a piece of string (Approximately 6")
2. Pass one end of string into the bead between the left ear and the snout
3. Turn the beads to the left once
- The left ear and left side of the snout should now be facing towards you
4. Put 1 yellow bead (Bicone) on the right end of the string
5. Let the bead fall to the center
6. Pass the same end of the string (right) into the first bead to the right of the left ear
7. Pull tightly
8. Pass the same end of the string (right) into the next bead
9. Tie a knot with the other end of the string
- Make sure to pull the string as hard as you can without breaking it
10. Tie one more knot to make sure that it is secure
11. Pass one end of the string into a couple of beads
12. Cut the string
13. Pass the other end of the string into a couple of beads
14. Cut the string
15. Take a black permanent marker and draw a dot in the center of the eye
16. Let it dry
Make Eye #2
1. Cut a piece of string (Approximately 6")
2. Pass one end of string into the bead between the right ear and the snout
3. Turn the beads to the right once
- The right ear and the right side of the snout should now be facing towards you
4. Put 1 yellow bead (Bicone) on the left end of the string
5. Let the bead fall to the center
6. Pass the same end of the string (left) into the first bead to the left of the right ear
7. Pull tightly
8. Pass the same end of the string (left) into the next bead
9. Tie a knot with the other end of the string
- Make sure to pull the string as hard as you can without breaking it
10. Tie one more knot to make sure that it is secure
11. Pass one end of the string into a couple of beads
12. Cut the string
13. Pass the other end of the string into a couple of beads
14. Cut the string
15. Take a black permanent marker and draw a dot in the center of the eye
16. Let it dry
