2D to 3D Maps Using BLENDER

Hello There!
A lot of building projects need a fine and smooth start with all of its needs provided with full accommodation. The first and the most important of all are MAPS. Yeah! Maps. IF you don't have a map for the construction, how are you gonna make the infrastructure. 2D maps are good, but what if you are provided with 3D maps. Obviously, the work will get super easy. So, in this intrustuctable, I will show you how to change your 2D floor map to 3D model using blender. Lets start,

Supplies

Blender software:
https://www.blender.org/download/

Making the Walls

First of all, Select the potion shown in the photo and move you cursor on the edge of the first wall.
Secondly, drag your cursor to the opposite corner of your wall and maintain its height.
BOOOM! Your first wall is completed.

Do it for all the remaining walls and your walls are completed.

TIP: You can copy paste the walls and adjust its length.

Flooring

Now, you are done with your walls and you just need to add the flooring.

The first thing that you want to work on is that :

  1. Click Shift+A
  2. Move the cursor on "MESH" and select "Plane"
  3. Click "S" on your keyboard and type "10"
    You can see that your floor is expanded
  4. Now, just adjust its sides and you are done with your flooring too.

THE MAP

Now, you can see that your 3D map has been completed. You can also add a texture according to your need in blender or in any other software.
