20 Minute Chicken & Broccoli Alfredo
Cheesy, creamy, Chicken & Broccoli Alfredo is an Italian favorite! I always order it when I go to an Italian restaurant. But it's super easy to make at home following my recipe! You can now make it in just 1 pot, and in 20 Minutes!!! This is a super easy weeknight meal that will please the whole family!
You Need:
- 1 lb Chicken breast
- 1/4 cup Flour
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tps Garlic Powder
- 1/4 tsp Pepper
- 2 tbls Oil
- 1/2 pound Fettuccine
- 16oz bag frozen broccoli
- 3 cups Chicken Broth (or water)
- 1/2 tsp Basil
- 1 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 1 cup 1/2 & 1/2 (or whole milk)
- Extra Cheese for garnish
Prep the Chicken
Cut the chicken into 1/4 inch strips and put them into a bowl. Add the flour, salt, garlic, and pepper and mix to coat the chicken. Heat the oil in a large fry pan over High heat. Add the chicken and cook for 3 minutes, tossing often to give it a quick sear on all sides. Remove the chicken and set aside.
Cook the Pasta/Broccoli
Add the chicken broth, followed by the pasta and finally the broccoli. Bring to a boil and cook over High heat, stirring occasionally for 12 minutes.
Finish It Up!
Add the milk, cheese, basil and seared chicken into the pan. Mix until combined and simmer covered for 5 minutes or until chicken is cooked through and sauce has thickened. Plate and sprinkle with more cheese as desired. ENJOY!!
