2 Piece Paracord Key Chain

Materials
For this 'ible you will need the following:
- 2 sections of paracord
• my sections were 5 feet long so I would have some extra afterwards
- 1 carabiner
- 1 buckle
- 1 key ring
- 2 sections of paracord

Start Up
Thread both ends of paracord through each half of the buckle. Then take your first half. We are about to begin tying. To make it a little more simple I am going to be referring to the left hand end of the paracord as string 1. The right hand end, string 2. And the end that has been threaded through the buckle, the base.
So take string 1 and lay it over the base. Now take string 2 and lay it over string 1. Then take it under the base, and into the loop on the left hand side. And tighten.
Now for the rest of the pattern, take string 2 and lay it over the top of the base. And take string 1 and lay it over string 2, under the base, and through the loop on the right hand side. And tighten
Now alternate the pattern and continue. You will have a little left, cut it and melt it with the lighter.
Now you can put the carabiner or key chain ring in the loop depending on what you wanna do.
Continue to step three.
So take string 1 and lay it over the base. Now take string 2 and lay it over string 1. Then take it under the base, and into the loop on the left hand side. And tighten.
Now for the rest of the pattern, take string 2 and lay it over the top of the base. And take string 1 and lay it over string 2, under the base, and through the loop on the right hand side. And tighten
Now alternate the pattern and continue. You will have a little left, cut it and melt it with the lighter.
Now you can put the carabiner or key chain ring in the loop depending on what you wanna do.
Continue to step three.
Second Half
Now for the second half. I will still be referring to the left hand string as string 1. Right hand string, string 2. And the threaded piece, the base.
Take string 1 and lay it over the base. And lay string 2 over string 1, under the base, and through the loop on the left hand side.
Take string 2 and lay it over the base. Take string 1 and lay it over string 2, under the base, and through the left hand side loop. And tighten.
Continue the alternating pattern. Eventually you will run out of paracord, cut the ends and melt/seal them with your lighter. Now put your carabiner or key chain ring through the loop, whichever you have left.
Take string 1 and lay it over the base. And lay string 2 over string 1, under the base, and through the loop on the left hand side.
Take string 2 and lay it over the base. Take string 1 and lay it over string 2, under the base, and through the left hand side loop. And tighten.
Continue the alternating pattern. Eventually you will run out of paracord, cut the ends and melt/seal them with your lighter. Now put your carabiner or key chain ring through the loop, whichever you have left.
