If you love a good chocolate dessert but aren't willing to bake, this dessert is perfect for you.
It's fancy, it's perfect for a celebration, everyone will love it, but it's easy enough to make for a normal weekday evening.

As a fondue lover, I've tried lots of recipes over the years but this one is the winner. The chocolate flavour isn't diluted with other ingredients, the texture is amazing, and paired with the soft donuts, marshmallows, and the juicy fruit, it can't get better.

Gather Your Ingredients

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup chocolate chips. I like seemisweet but dark or white chocolate works too.

Donuts

Marshmallows

Strawberries

Bananas

Skewers

Make the Fondue

Heat a small pot in medium heat. Once it's hot, set the heat to low.
Add the chocolate chips and stir until they melt.

Transfer to a Fondue Pot

To keep the fondue liquid, it has to stay warm, so put it in a special pot with a tea light below that keeps it warm.
This is the recipe I use with my chocolate fountain. Although it has a lot of texture, it flows perfectly.

Slice the bananas, and cut the donuts and marshmallows.

Put them in a skewer and get ready to be amazed!
