1/12 Scale Miniature Dollhouse Dorm Desk

This is a 1/12 scale dollhouse miniature desk, designed as part of a miniature dorm room. It's laser cut out of 1/8" cherry and glued with wood glue.

Glue the outer frame of the desk together (top and sides)

Glue in the desk back on the side where you want the drawers.

Add in the middle panel and then the bar in the back.

Glue in the back drawer supports. These make sure your side drawer supports align well.

Now glue in the side drawer supports. It might help to assemble to drawers first to make sure that they fit (I did them sort of simultaneously while I was waiting for other parts of the desk to dry).

The drawers seem relatively self explanatory :-)

Glue the sides and the back of the hutch together. The hole is for wiring so that I can put a light on it, so you don't need to cut a hole if you don't want to wire it.

Glue in the shelves. If you're wiring it, the bottom shelf should be just over the hole.

Glue the front light cover panel in.
