Printing

DiaProjector.jpg

First you need to print all parts for projector this takes up to 50h of printing.

You need to mirror files and think how to position files for better strength.

I used 20-30% density.

You need print file 7 and 10 two times.

Assembling LED on Cooler Fan

To mount LED on aluminium plate you must first drill holes.

You can mark drilling points with help of file sablona.stl

You need to align marker with lower edge of aluminium block.

If you don't have thread drill, just drill holes with any drill for metal

and fix led chip on with any screw.

At this point you should solder wires on LED chip. follow example on photo

and finish assembling LED with adding 50mm Reflector Collimator.

Fix top of step up converter with screwing it to radiator.

Connect wires from led chip on out connectors on step up converter. Plus in plus, minus in minus.

Connect wires from ventilator to input socket on step up converter. Red on plus and black in minus socket.

Connect switch with red wire from -Metal-Power-Supply-Jack-Socket like on photo and on to plus socket on step up converter. And negative-black wire in minus socket on step up.

When connecting wires you must take extra care. If you connect wires wrong it will result in damaging priceless parts. So make sure you wired everything correctly before turning LED on.

At this point you can test your lightening system.

You will need to adjust voltage on step up converter by turning potentiometer. If you don't have voltage meter just turn potentiometer until LED is bright enough.

If you are not comfortable with wiring ask someone for help.

When done with this step jump on next one

Screw together ventilator and 5.stl

Insert 8mm 115mm m8 threaded rod in to hole in part 4.stl. I used electro drill for help.

Now you connect part 5 and 4 together with 12mm screws and hex nuts. You will find holes on top and on bottom of part 5. Look at photo for illustration.

Insert 63mm lens in part 4.stl with flat side looking up, it should be click fit.

Insert 63mm lens in part 3.stl with flat side looking up, it should be click fit.

Insert 40mm lens in to part 2.stl. like in photo and srew part 1.stl and part 2.stl together.

Put part 3.stl and part 2.stl together and then part 4.stl and 3.stl.

on the and you put on legs 7.stl and 10.stl and you are done.

To power up Dia Projector you can use 12V ac/dc power adapter for indore use.

For mobile outdoor use you can hook it up to 12v battery with some diy cable

as one on photo or any other solutions that works for you.

I am using battery you see on photo, but many other 12v batteries will work

as long as they have at least 2 amp.

I made cable for battery 2m long so it is easy to put battery in backpack or pocket.

Make sure to mark cables correctly or even better use red and black wire.
