A great place to hide money, keys, and more is in the battery compartment of a clock (or another electronic device). How convenient, you can check the time and withdraw your money at the same time! Your welcome, I am helping you multitask! Just simply place your money, or another item you would like to hide, in the clock. Then sit back and relax, confident that your items are safe and secure.

Pill Bottle Under a Rock

Pill Bottle Under a Rock

Don't we all have some old pill bottles in the back of a cabinet? All we need for this project is one of those old empty bottles, a hot glue gun, and a rock. What-what, that's all we need? Yep, and you can hide money, wedding rings or other jewelry, computer passwords, or a spare key. Say Goodbye to getting locked outside! (Sorry locksmiths.)

Let's get's get started; just place the pill bottle upside down and place a generous amount of hot glue on the bottom of the pill bottle.

Then put the rock on top of the pill bottle and let the glue cool down.

Now all you need to do is dig a small hole, big enough to fit the pill bottle.

Put what you would like to hide into the pill bottle, place your new creation in the hole and marvel at how simple that was!

Now to retrieve your stuff just pick up your rock and there you go, easy as pie.

In a Shell

Sometimes the places that no one would ever look is right under there own nose, or in this case, a shell. This simple hiding spot can hide a spare key, computer passwords or some good, hard earned cash. Simply place your money (or another item you would like to hide) into the shell. Now all you have to do is place it with some home decorations on a shelf, or just throw it in the back of that old drawer that no-one dares to sort through.

In a Book

My favorite chapter is the one with the wad of cash! Who doesn't have a book, seriously everyone has some book in their house! Whether it's a photo album that was given to you years ago but, you have only looked through once, and now has so much dust you are convinced that it is a fossil. Or your favorite book that you have read a thousand times. Sometimes this is the best place to hide your money or a passport. Yes, books are good for more than just reading and they make great hiding spots! No need for an overpriced, overcomplicated, locking box, to keep your money safe.

In a Picture Frame

Wait, I have a picture perfect idea! Why don't you hide your stuff in a picture frame? Yeah, that's right! It's perfect, with plenty of room to hide cash, keys, and more! In a place that no one will ever look! I bet you have half a dozen or more hanging on your walls or perhaps one or two on your desk. With such easy access, why not hide stuff in one? Just put what you would like to hide in between the picture and the back of the frame, its brilliant! The only thing you have to do to access your stuff is to open the back of your frame. There you go, your household items are now becoming like you own personal ATM (except you don't have to remember a pin number) there's life simplified!

In a Underground Compartment

Underground Compartment

What's a better place to hide money or your keys than underground? Wait, that sounds hard! Guess what, it isn't hard, not the way I do it! You will need a water bottle, string, pair of scissors and hot glue gun.

First, cut your water bottle into two pieces (make sure your top piece is only about 1/3 of the bottle).

Then, use the tip of your scissors to make a small hole in the water bottle lid.

Now, thread your string through the hole in the lid.

Make a few knots in the top of the string (above the top of the lid) so that it cannot be pulled back through the lid.

Next, thread the bottom of your string through the top portion of your water bottle.

Using your glue gun, put a generous amount of hot glue in the bottle lid and screw onto the top of the water bottle.

Now, take the top portion of your water bottle (now that you have added the lid and string) and turn it upside down, and place it inside the bottom piece of your water bottle (please make sure the bottom part of your water bottle is right side up).

Next, tie a loop in the other end of your string (about a half inch from the end of the water bottle).

Lastly, remove the top part of the bottle and place your valuable items (key, money, etc.) inside your newly made underground container and place the top part of the bottle back on. Now you are ready to hide your stuff in the ground!

In a Phone Case

A phone is a perfect place to keep a credit card, debit card, and cash! You are literally never without your phone, right? With easy access, you will never be without your money, and you can leave your wallet at home! Now I am helping you declutter your pockets! All you need to do is put your money or card in between your case and your phone and there you go! :)

In Toilet Paper

SAM_0675.JPG

When I say hide your money in a roll of toilet paper you may be thinking what...? If you are thinking that then, success! Who would look for money when the thought of hiding money there brings confusion, yep foolproof! Just unroll the toilet paper a little and then place your money in it. Now, roll the toilet paper back up and store it in your closet.

Under a Lamp

Under a lamp is a perfect place to hide your money! It is an easy, I mean simple, place to hide your money! With easy access, I mean simple to access, wait, I don't think that works. Nevermind, I think I'm just confusing you. Seriously, this is a great place to hide your money, all you have to do is place your money under the lamp that's all.

In a Sprinkler

In a Sprinkler

Do you want to hide your money or a key, so you will never get locked out again? How about under a doormat? No way, that will be the first place a thief will look! Maybe under a flower pot or, a fake-looking rock? No, no, no, those are all the first places they will look! Now try one of my favorites places, it is in a sprinkler, of course! The sprinkler will not be attached to any water line, but those that see it will never consider that it is just a hiding spot for an extra key or a wad of cash. Sounds pretty good, right? Well, it gets even better, all you have to do is unscrew the sprinkler lid and remove all of the inside components. Then put your money and key into the sprinkler and push it into the ground. Now you have a cleverly hidden stash and spare key!
