Supplies
~ 1 Cup (2 sticks) Butter Room Temperature
~ 3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
~ 2 Eggs
~ 2 tsp Vanilla
~ 1/12 Cup Flour
~ 1 tsp Baking soda
~ 1/2 tsp salt
~ 2 Cups Old Fashioned Oats
~ 1 1/2 Cup Raisins
~ 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
Step 1
Preheat oven to 375 F. Beat butter and brown sugar until smooth and creamy. Add eggs one at a time and vanilla, then sift flour, baking soda and salt into the mixture and stir. Add 1/2 tsp of cinnamon if you wish to give them a festive flavor. Add the old fashioned oats and raisins to the mix and stir until everything is evenly mixed. If the dough is too soft or sticky to roll into a ball, chill it for 15 minutes. Drop heaping Tbsp onto greased baking sheets. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the bottom is golden brown but the top is still soft to touch.
